4 Black Fashion Designers To Watch

If this year has brought forth one good thing, it has been the rise of black excellence. This has been the year that have seen countless black artists rise and make a name for themselves in music, film, television, and even activism. But there are also rising stars in the fashion world too, a space that has not always been known for diversity. Take this year’s New York Fashion Week, for example,  where there’s been more inclusion of black models and fashion designers doing their thing, making incredible looks for international runways, celebrities and regular folks who want to spice up their “everyday” wear. Here are a few of our favorite fashion designers you need to watch out for this year!

Best of all, James ensures the shoes are made purely handmade from various countries in the motherland like South Africa, Kenya, and Morroco. She sells everything from sandals to boots. The minute you lay your eyes on the brand’s footwear you will immediately feel connected to the motherland.
