Hey Ladies! The holidays are just around the corner. And since Thanksgiving is just a week away, I’m sure you are already planning to head out to a couple of get-togethers with family and friends. However, you don’t want to forget to show appreciation for the person who is hosting the shindig. Before you go, take a look at our list of ideas that would make a perfect gift for your holiday host.
1.) Scented Candles
You can’t go wrong with giving a hostess scented candles! Personally, I think scented candles were made to go with the fall and winter months. Soothing aromas of firewood, fresh pine, or sweet pumpkin pie are just a few examples that would great holiday gifts any host. I love checking out Yankee Candle as they sell a plethora of scents to choose from.
2.) Decorative Dish Towels
Why not give your host a piece of kitchen decor? Find your host a unique, memorable dish towels she can hang over the oven handle. This gift can be boring so make sure you spice it up! Give your host a mixture of towels with festive patterns, heartwarming messages, and funny quotes.
3.) Gift BasketsI love gift baskets! My family receives one every year from friends, relatives, and house guests. The best thing about them is you can get creative by tailoring the gift basket specifically for your host. For the guy who’s doing the hosting, you can go for the classic basket of assorted meats, cheeses, wine and, of course, pint-sized beer glasses! For the ladies, try creating a basket filled with colorful bath bombs, vanilla scented candles, and hot chocolate mix. If anything, a sweet basket of milk and dark chocolate would do!
4.) Bottles of Wine
Who doesn’t want to get their drink on during the holidays? It’s the perfect antidote when you want to wind down after prepping for Thanksgiving Day dinner or Christmas shopping. Consider giving your host up to 1-3 bottles of wine as a “thank you” for hosting such a poppin’ holiday bash! It’s entirely up to your host if she wants to share (fingers crossed she does, right?), but I’m sure she would appreciate a bottle she could drink after the party is over.
