Best Friends Forever: Our Favorite TV Duos

People, let me tell you about my best friend! When we watch our favorite TV shows, we’re usually watching the antics of a group of best friends. Whether they’re sipping Alize or starting a craze with Apache, you can always be sure that you’ll have fun watching them.

From all the TV duos out there, here’s a look into some of our favorites!

Gina and Pam – “Martin”

Gina & Pam

You go, girl! On Martin, we’re introduced to the dynamic duo of Gina Waters and Pamela James. These best friends met each other at their marketing jobs, but you’d think they had known each other for life! They’re the perfect balance to each other. While Gina was often portrayed as the prim and proper type, Pam was a little rougher around the edges, especially when it came to her arguments with Martin! These best friends did everything together and we can appreciate that Tisha Campbell-Martin and Tichina Arnold even worked together after the end of the “Martin!”

Nikki and Andell – “The Parkers”

Nikki & Andell

Heyyyy! Nikki Parker and Andell Wilkerson were the best friend duo on “The Parkers.” As crazy as Nikki’s antics were, you could always find Andell tagging along beside her. Best friends since high school, the duo definitely left impressions wherever they went, but who doesn’t want a ride or die best friend! From sneaking into the LA Lakers locker room to hanging on a ledge outside Tweet’s fitting room, Nikki and Andell are the kind of friendship I’d like to have!

Tia and Tamera – “Sister, Sister”

Tia & Tamera

Go home, Roger! There’s no question that Tia and Tamera Mowry left a lasting impression on their audience when they first appeared in “Sister, Sister.” In the show, the twins reunited after discovering they were adopted by two separate people. Although their relationship with their parents and sometimes Roger was great, nothing compares to the relationship they had with each other! This show proved that twins might possibly be the greatest duo of best friends even when they have completely different personalities!

Will and Carlton – “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”

Will & Carlton

It’s not unusual to be loved by anyone! As much as they got on each other, Will and Carlton are my favorite set of best friends! Although Jazz was often referred to as Will’s best friend, their relationship didn’t touch the one Will had with Carlton! In the beginning of the show, it was easy to see that they didn’t get along. The short jokes had a hint of spite and Carlton couldn’t get over Will being a “home boy.” As they’re relationship grew, so did their friendship! After all, Will did take a bullet for Carlton. If that’s not the ultimate sign of friendship, I don’t know what is!

Who’s your best friend? Think about them and how your relationship matches up to some of these amazing TV duos! Are you and your best friend battling it out to become a background singer, sipping Alize as you talk about your love life, switching places for a date, or dancing on stage for a crowd? Even if you aren’t we’re sure you and your best friend are as amazing as these TV ones!
